DURING SUMMER, WHAT STYLES AND FASHIONS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC VIEW DURING WARM SUNNY DAYS ARE ACCEPTABLE (AND WHICH ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE) TO JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO HIS HOLY BIBLE?
II CORINTHIANS 5:1-4 =We know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God - a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Here indeed we groan, and long to put on our heavenly residence, so that by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we sigh with weariness - not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
REVELATION 16:15 = Wow, I'm coming like a thief! Blessed is [he] who is awake, keeping [his] clothes that [he] may not go naked and be seen exposed!
1. For wearing a CHIGNON or PONYTAIL (not loose hair hanging below mouth-level):
2. For wearing LONG-sleeved shirt, blouse, and dress (rather than bare-armed sleevelessness):
KJV's and NKJV's Numbers 5:18 =
" And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover her head, and place in her hands the cereal offering of remembrance, which is the cereal offering of jealousy."
RSV's and NASV's Song of Solomon 7:5 =
"Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses."
RSV's and NASV's II Samuel 13:18 =
"Now she was wearing a long-sleeved full-length robe, for so were the virgin daughters of the king traditionally dressed."
PSALM 101:3-4 = I will not set before my eyes anything that is lewd. I hate the work of those who fall away: it shall not cleave to me. Perverseness of heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil.
KJV's and NKJV's I Timothy 2:8-9 =
"I would that in every place...the women adorn themselves modestly in decent apparel..."
3. For wearing a BRA:
KJV's and NASV's (not RSV's) Proverbs 5:18-23 =
"Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth - a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; Be infatuated with her love. Why should you be enraptured by a loose woman, my son, and embrace the bosom of a seductress? For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He watches all his steps. The wicked man's iniquities ensnare him, and he is caught in the cords of his sin. He dies for lack of discretion, and in the greatness of his foolishness he is lost."
4. For wearing PANTIES covering crotch and buttocks:
KJV's and RSV's (not NASV's) Isaiah 3:16-17 and Isaiah 20:3-4 =
"The LORD said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes...the Lord will smite with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts."
"The LORD said: 'As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Ethiopia, so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians captives and the Ethiopians exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. Then they shall be dismayed and confounded because of Ethiopia their hope and of Egypt their boast."
5. For wearing LONG skirt or NON-tight slacks (rather than legs-baring shorts, shortened or slitted skirt, or legs-exposing "swim"-wear):
KJV's and NASV's Isaiah 47:1-4 =
"Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans, for you shall no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover the leg, pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no human."
EZEKIEL 16:35-37 = Wherefore O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because your shame was laid bare and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotries with your lovers, and because of all your idols, and because of the blood of your children that you gave to them, therefore - hey! - I will gather all your lovers, with whom you took pleasure (all those you loved and all those you loathed) and I will gather them against you from every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness."
6. For wearing SOCKS with shoes:
KJV's and NKJV's Jeremiah 2:25 =
Keep your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst. But you have said, 'No! It is hopeless, for I have loved strangers, and after them I will go.'
MATTHEW 5:27-32 = [Jesus said]: "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin. pluck it out and throw it away -- it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell. It was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.' But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her an adulteress, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
REVELATION 3:15-18 = I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, 'I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing' - not knowing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich, and white garments to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.
